Thoughts on America — Christmas 2014

Thoughts on the Christmas Season, 2014

In this Christmas season, our greatest holiday, we face myriad Obama-created crisis. There is a darkness on the land. We should not let this divert us from the knowledge that America is a Christian nation. “In God we Trust.”

MerryChristmas

Merry Christmas is politically incorrect?

Obama clearly hates both the Constitution and our American culture, and he is wearing us down. His agenda is to “Transform America” into a socialist state. The result is a “Soft Tyranny” aided by a complacent media that is not just biased, but an active part of Team Obama. This tyranny is growing sharp fangs, with organizations like the IRS, EPA, and BLM being “weaponized” for political purposes. The good news is that the recent election gives Congress and “We the People” the power to thwart this, if we have the will to do so.

Obama’s first job was for an Alinsky organization. That’s why he moved to Chicago. Obama’s tactics come from Saul Alinsky, which he studied and taught to ACORN and SEIU thugs.

Alinsky dedicated the first edition of his book to Lucifer. He patterned his tactics on evil and deceit.

OBAMA’S WAR ON RELIGION

One Nation Under God

“President Obama’s Secular bullying serves a dual purpose for him. First, it provides him the personal satisfaction of supplementing God with himself. Second, it gives him a convenient enemy to target in order to garner the female vote.”

Chapter Seven, Bullies, by Ben Shapiro Bullies: How the Left’s Culture of Fear and Intimidation Silences Americans

The book I cite is excellent, and this issue, literally, won the last election for Obama. Some 85% of single women (and a plurality of married women) voted for him. Obama picked a fight with churches, used it to scare women, and it worked. Saul Alinsky 101 – polarize, demonize, divide, and divert.

On January 20, 2012, Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius announced that under ObamaCare religious institutions would be forced to provide health insurance including contraception. This move was a mandate to overrule religious beliefs and force Christian churches and organizations to provide coverage for what some deemed a sinful activity.

As Bullies notes, “The strategy was obvious: attack religious institutions; force Republicans to side with religious institutions; imply that Republicans are siding with religious institutions not because they believe in religious liberty, but because they secretly want to ban contraceptives altogether.”

Alinsky 101: Create a crisis and wrap it in lies that are partially true but totally misleading. Then personalize, polarize, and attack….

After most of a year of Saul Alinsky bullying, the strategy prevailed. Obama won the election by a thin margin. He sold the idea that by defending the First Amendment Rights of Christians, Obama’s opponents were waging a war on women. This despite the fact that many conservative women were speaking out against his scare tactics. Goebbels would be proud.

QUOTES FROM EXCEPTIONAL AMERICANS

“We recognize no sovereign but God, and no King but Jesus.”

– John Adams and John Hancock

“Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.”

– John Adams

“It is religion and morality alone which can establish the principles upon which freedom can securely stand. The only foundation of a free constitution is pure virtue.”

– John Adams

“It cannot be emphasized too strongly or too often that this great Nation was founded not by religionists, but by Christians; not on religions, but on the Gospel of Jesus Christ.”

– Patrick Henry

“Rebellion to tyrants is obedience to God.”

– Benjamin Franklin

“This nation under God.”

– Abraham Lincoln, Gettysberg Address and inscribed on Lincoln Memorial

“We have staked the whole future of our new nation, not upon the power of government; far from it. We have staked the future of all our political constitutions upon the capacity of each of ourselves to govern ourselves according to the moral principles of the Ten Commandments.”

– James Madison

“It is impossible to reason without arriving at a Supreme Being.”

– George Washington

“God who gave us life gave us liberty. Can the liberties of a nation be secure when we have removed a conviction that these liberties are the gift of God? Indeed I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just, that His justice cannot sleep forever.”

– Thomas Jefferson, Jefferson Memorial

A PARTIAL RECORD OF OBAMA ADMINISTRATION ATTACKS ON CHRISTIANITY

Each cut, by itself, is no big deal. But the pattern of intense, relentless attacks to separate our nation from the absolutes for moral conduct and right and wrong embedded in the Judeo Christian ethic, is, I think, both is a clear and present danger to the continued existence of a sovereign nation, “By and For the People.”
